The equipment for graphite drying mainly consists of graphite heating elements, power drives, temperature control systems, and pneumatic conveying systems. The workflow is generally divided into the following steps:
1. Feeding: The material enters the graphite drying chamber through the feeding device, usually through continuous feeding.
2. Heating: The power supply of the graphite heating element is activated to start heating the material. Due to its excellent conductivity and thermal conductivity, graphite can be heated to the desired temperature in a short period of time.
3. Drying: As the material is heated, the moisture inside begins to evaporate and gradually dries. The thermal capacity of graphite is relatively small, and it quickly cools down after heating, making the evaporation of moisture inside the material more sufficient.
4. Discharge: The dried material is transported to the discharge outlet for discharge treatment. This step of transportation is usually carried out by pneumatic or mechanical means.
The entire graphite drying process can be automated through an electrical control system to ensure accurate maintenance and control of various indicators.
Compared to other drying methods, the advantages of graphite drying include high thermal efficiency, simple operation, energy conservation and environmental protection, and high reliability. But its price is relatively high, especially for small production capacity, with higher investment costs.
